Mr. Silas Simatwo is a highly respected and influential figure in the business and corporate sector. He has a proven track record of leadership and a wealth of experience in various sectors, such as finance, strategy, and management.
As the Chairman of the Africa Merchant Assurance Company Ltd Board of Directors, he plays a crucial role in guiding the company's overall strategic direction, ensuring that it aligns with its mission and vision.
He has served as a Director in multiple companies, such as Salanic Printers Ltd, Serseren Freight Co. Ltd as well as Venture Africa Tours & Travel Ltd to name a few.
He was a lecturer at Moi University, as well as at University of East Africa - Baraton
Mr. Silas attended Moi University, graduating with a Bachelor of Education, specializing in English, Literature and Education. Still at Moi University, he enrolled in and graduated with a Masters of Philosophy in English Linguistic. He was also a Ph.D. student at Bayreuth University in Germany.
