Terry is a Human Resources practitioner and consultant with over 20 years' experience in the field of Human Resources Management, Executive Coaching, Strategic Leadership, Organization Development, Mediation and Change Management. She has held senior positions in both private and public organizations.

She is a member of numerous institutions such as Institute of Directors, Kenya and Institute of Human Resources Management.

Terry earned a Bachelor's degree of Arts in Political Science and a Master's degree in Business Administration from University of Nairobi and undertook a one-year course in International Relations at the same university. She acquired her professional HR training from the Institute of Human Resources, Kenya where she attained a Higher National Diploma in Human Resources. She is also a Certified Trustee of Retirement Benefit Schemes from Humber College, Canada, Trained Trainer of Corporate Governance from Centre of Corporate Governance; Kenya, Certified Executive Coach from the Academy of Executive Coaches, UK and a Certified Mediator from MT International, USA.

Terry has been a Member of the Board of Directors of several corporate bodies - Kenyatta International Conference Centre, National Social Security Fund, University of Eldoret and ACT! (Act, Change and Transform).
